Do you ever find yourself stumped by what exactly you should wear to certain events or occasions? Let’s take some inspiration from the real world and make them work for us! First up… what to wear when meeting your main squeeze’s parents for the first time. First, let’s get out that collective “eek!” Okay, now onto the clothes.
This Anthropologie dress conveys the right message. You’re stylish, classy, and demure.
These Mossimo Supply Co. flats from Target are sweet and subtle, with a cute kick.
Top it off with these ladylike earrings from Forever 21 (only $3.80!).
And finish the look with a cardigan from The Limited.
And voila! A look any mother could love.

I don’t think I could love these more. The muted tones, dip-dyed styling, ruffles and fluffles. I’m 100% enamored by Tutu Du Monde‘s fabulous party dresses. I just wish they came in MY size.
I discovered Tutu Du Monde via one of my favorite blogs: Hip Hip Hooray!
I’m a bit of a shoe hound. I don’t know how it always happens, but each year I throw out at least 5 pairs of spring/summer shoes, and by the end of the summer, I have at least 8 pairs more than I did at the start of the season.
Right now, I am dying over these neutral lovelies. I’m triple-heart loving the soft, muted pinks and peaches (so ballerina-esque). And glitter, done. Always love glitter. Perhaps that love was born from my 13 years of dance.
Here are a few of my current loves. If I were getting married this summer, you can bet I’d be wearing one (or more) of these.

With a fabulous princess party just around the corner, we needed something special to help our guests feel extra princessy. The solution? Princess capes.

Did you check out the gorgeous soft pink and ivory inspiration from Monday? Love.
Of course the bride is gorgeous, but not only that, she looks like she’s SO FUN! I bet her wedding day was a blast for all parties involved!
Absolutely adorable. So much personality.
I adore the emotion in this pic.

I’m a sucker for the usual sale sites – Rue La La, Gilt Group, Travelzoo, Groupon – anywhere where I can get a great deal (and I’m limited by time!), I’m in.
And I love, love, love bridal deals. Sure, I’m married already. But a girl can dream, right? Or help her bride-friends and clients out.
So I got my invitation to The Aisle New York and Oh My Gawww. Gorgeous. Monique Lhuillier! Elizabeth Fillmore! Cassin! Just speechless (for once).
Look at some of the lovelies for sale at this very moment! Some at over 1/2 off!

Are you hungry? Even if you just ate, this video will make your tastebuds cry out for something delicious.
It’s a wee advertisement for Louis Vuitton City Guides – and I absolutely love that the focus in really on the desserts (the research) – not on promoting the fact that LV created the guide. It’s brilliant. And so tasty.
Le Saint Honore (the dessert of honor) could hold its own on a bare, undecorated table. It’s that gorgeous.
In my everlasting web search for gorgeous goods, I bring you a few of my very favorite items. Note: these items are NOT intended to go together. They’re simply pretty things that could brighten your wardrobe or add a slice of on-trend style right now! Inspiration is wherever you find, it, and I hope you find some here.
Flynn Skirt Sunshine by Anne M. Cramer. Would look lovely with black tights now, or bare legs and flats later.
Ban.Do – no seriously, do it! I love Ban.Do. I love Target, and well, I love hearts. So there you go. You should too!
Jesse Tote by Fossil – I think this vintage-style leather bag might be my go-to bag for spring 2011.

Soft pastels always get me as the hint of spring is on the horizon.
I threw together this sweet pretty in pink Paris inspiration board with a sweet April wedding in mind.
Don’t you love the pink Depression glass dishware (I have that!), and the macarons?
